Yssterday, the Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus unveiled the new OnePlus 6T in New York with premium specifications. The company is also entering the offline markets in the US with the partnership with T-Mobiles.

Today, company has formally launched the OnePlus 6T in India at an event in Delhi. The predecessor OnePlus 6 was launched May of this year and the successor 6T is launched nearly after 6 months.

OnePlus 6T Specifications

Coming to the specifications, the new flagship OnePlus 6T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 that facilitates the Screen Unlock, protected by Google. The company has added five-calibration settings for RGB on the device. The “immersive” screen has a small waterdrop-style notch and a thin chin. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and the company claims that it is the fastest-performing implementation of in-display fingerprint authentication yet.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 6T has a 16-megapixel primary and 20-megapixel secondary camera sensor on the rear and an aperture of f/1.7 for the primary lens. OnePlus 6T comes with a new Nightscape scene that optimizes the photos taken during the night. The Nightscape feature is also coming to the predecessor OnePlus 6. The portrait mode is the main thing that the company has worked on to improve the overall camera experience. The Portrait Mode now comes with Studio Lighting that essentially shifts the focus on the subject as it becomes more engaging in the frame in comparison to the other elements.

The OnePlus 6T is backed by 3700 mAh battery which is bigger than its predecessors and it will also support the company’s proprietary fast charging (previously known as Dash Charging). The OnePlus 6T ships with the OxygenOS running on top of Android 9 Pie.

OnePlus 6T will have two variants – Midnight Black and Mirror Black – at the time of launch. However, the company will release additional variants in terms of color.

OnePlus 6T Price in India

The OnePlus 6T is priced from Rs 37,999 i India and the smartphone will be available in three variants – 6GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/128GB storage (Rs 41,999), and 8GB RAM/256GB storage (Rs 45,999).
The new OnePlus 6T will go on sale through Amazon India and company’s official site oneplus.in on November 2. Moreover, the smartphone will be available on the authorized offline retailers.
