OnePlus 7 Pro with Snapdragon 855 SoC and 12GB RAM Seen on Geekbench

The upcoming flagship from OnePlus named OnePlus 7 Pro is set to launch on May 14 and the new device has popped up on the Geekbench benchmark database. The Geekbench of the OnePlus 7 Pro gives us some idea about the expected performance of the device.

So far, the handset has popped up multiple times with the first appearance on Geekbench as “OnePlus GM1917” with Snapdragon 855 chipset and 12GB of RAM.

As we mentioned above, the OnePlus 7 Pro that has been spotted on Geekbench bears the model number OnePlus GM1917. As reported earlier, the device will ship with a Qualcomm chipset, namely the Snapdragon 855 SoC. This doesn’t come as a surprise as OnePlus had stated previously that the Snapdragon 855. To recall, the OnePlus 6T was launched with Snapdragon 845 chipset.

The model that appeared on Geekbench is equipped with whopping 12GB of RAM. With several other devices now coming with 12GB of RAM, it was expected that this would also feature a 12GB option. In the GeekBench listing, the phone has scored 3551 points in the single-core and 11,012 points in the multi-core test.

Beyond these specs, not much is know about the device. With this being a development device, it is possible that these scores will improve further when it is launched.

OnePlus has so far confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro will feature triple rear-camera setup. The triple rear camera setup on the OnePlus 7 Pro comprises of 48MP primary camera, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens.

A recent report also indicated at the price of the OnePlus 7 Pro variants. As per the report, OnePlus 7 Pro 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will cost $749 (approx. 52,442), whereas the 12GB RAM +256GB storage variant will go for $819 (approx. Rs.57,343). The pricing details of the OnePlus 7 Pro 6GB RAM variant is still unknown.
