OnePlus 7T Goes Official with Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, 90Hz Fluid AMOLED Display and Android 10

Chinese smartphone giant OnePlus has launched its newest smartphone named OnePlus 7T at an event held in India yesterday. Apart from the usual upgrades, the new OnePlus 7T has something that defines its existence differently. It comes with 90Hz fluid AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, Android 10 and this makes the device to stand apart.

OnePlus 7T Specifications

The OnePlus 7T sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) display with waterdrop notch. It has 90Hz high refresh rates 20:9 aspect ratio and HDR 10+ support.

Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. It has been released in 8GB RAM/128GB USB 3.0 storage and 8GB RAM/256GB USB 3.0 storage configuration variants.

The rear triple camera setup housed inside circular module includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 16-megapixel 117-degree ultra-wide sensor, a 12-megapixel 2x telephoto lens and a LED flash. The rear camera features include 4K video recording at up to 60fps, slo-mo video recording at 240fps, and features such as UltraShot, Nightscape, and HDR.

There is an 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 front camera. The whole package is powered by a 3,700mAh battery with support for 30T Warp Charging support via USB Type-C. The new charging technique is claimed to juice up the device to 70 percent in 30 minutes. It will be running OnePlus’ OxygenOS based on Android 10.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, etc.

OnePlus 7T Price and Availability

The OnePlus 7T has been priced at Rs. 37,999 and Rs. 39,999 for 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variant respectively. It will go on sale starting September 28th on Amazon. The phone will be available in Frosted Silver and Glacier Blue color variants.
