OnePlus’ new flagship dubbed OnePlus 8 set to launch on April 14. Besides OnePlus 8, the company will also be launching its OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Lite (aka OnePlus Z) phone. Though the launch is only a few days away, we are subjected to more details about the series. And, today the specifications and pricing details of the OnePlus 8 series have been leaked.
OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro specifications
Both OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones will be fuelled by the Snapdragon 865 SoC. The report further reveals that both the phones will feature a 6.55-inch full HD+ and 6.78-inch quad HD+ resolution supporting AMOLED displays. The OnePlus 8 will offer a 90Hz refresh rate while the OnePlus 8 Pro is said to provide a 120Hz refresh rate. The phones will have a 20:9 aspect ratio and 19.8:9 aspect ratio respectively alongside the and support for Adaptive Display, MEMC, HDR10+, and in-screen fingerprint scanner.
For selfies and video calls, both the phones will feature an EIS enabled 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor inside the punch-hole. The front cameras reportedly support 1080 30fps video recording.
The triple rear camera setup of the OnePlus 8 is said to include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main lens with OIS and EIS, a 116-degree 16-megapixel ultrawide shooter, a 2-megapixel macro lens with dual-LED flash. OnePlus 8 Pro, on the other hand, packs a quad-camera setup of a Sony IMX689 48-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and EIS, a 120-degree Sony IMX586 ultrawide lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 30x digital zoom and OIS and a 5-megapixel color filter with PDAF. The setup will be paired with dual-LED flash and Laser AF. Both the phones will support 30/60fps 4K video shooting. OnePlus 8 Pro will also have support for 48fps and 240fps slow-motion video recording, 3D Audio Zoom and flicker sensor.
The smartphones will reportedly run Android 10 OS skinned with OxygenOS 10. Apart from the above-mentioned features, Dolby Atmos powered stereo speakers will come equipped with both the devices. Connectivity features will be 5G, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and USB-C. The OnePlus 8 measures 160.2 x 72.9 x 8mm and weighs 180 grams. The IP68 rated OnePlus 8 Pro has 165.3 x 74.4 x 8.5mm dimensions and weighs 199 grams.

Last but not least, OnePlus 8 will be available in three colors including Onyx Black, Glacial Green and Interstellar Glow at a price tags of 729 euros (8GB + 128GB) and 835 euros(12GB + 256GB) respectively.
OnePlus 8 Pro 8 GB RAM + 128 GB and 12 GBR AM + 256 GB storage models, on the other hand, will cost 930 euros and 1,020 euros respectively and will be available three color options: Onyx Black, Glacial Green, and Ultramine Blue. They are expected to go on sale from April 30.
