OnePlus 8 Pro Allegedly Spotted on MIIT Database, Reveals Dual-Mode 5G Connectivity

Chinese brand OnePlus is all set to launch its latest OnePlus 8 series. If rumors are to believed, the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and the OnePlus 8 Lite will make its debut in April 2020. Ahead of this, the company confirmed its presence at CES 2020 to unveil ‘Concept One’, its first concept smartphone.

Before the official launch, a lot has already been leaked about the OnePlus 8 series smartphones. Now, one of the phones from the series, OnePlus 8 Pro has made an appearance on MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) in China.

The OnePlus phone listed on MIIT has model number IN2010, a tweet from tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore reveled. The OnePlus 8 Pro 5G will support dual-mode 5G connectivity. The phone should support several frequency bands including n1, n41, n78, and n79. Besides, the previous leak has already revealed features and specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro phone.

As per the leaks, OnePlus 8 Pro will flaunt a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED E3 curved dual punch-hole display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It is tipped to produce a Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3140 pixels. Fuelling the OnePlus 8 Pro will be Snapdragon 865 mobile platform and X55 5G modem that brings support for 5G connectivity alongside the 8 GB and 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM variants and USF 3.0 storage options such as 128 GB and 256 GB.

For photography, the OnePlus 8 Pro will feature OIS and EIS enabled rear camera setup that includes an f/1.6 aperture 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main lens, an f/2.2 aperture 20-megapixel ultrawide lens, an f/2.4 aperture 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x hybrid optical zoom support. Along with these, the phone might come with a 3D ToF sensor and it might offer 10x hybrid optical zoom, dual OIS and EIS.

The handset will include a 4500mAh battery with support for 35W fast charging. The OnePlus 8 Pro reportedly packs a Gorilla Glass 6 panel on the front and Gorilla Glass 5. Moreover, it will have an IP68 rated chassis.
