The Oppo A16K smartphone is rumored to launch soon in India. Last year, the company unveiled the Oppo A16K budget smartphone in the Philippines market. It is expected to be launched later this month in India for Rs 10,490. In the meantime, Oppo has released another smartphone under its A-series in China. Dubbed as Oppo A36, the phone will be available in a single variant.

Oppo A36 comes with a price tag of CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs 18,600). It is offered in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage model and two colour options: Black and Blue.

The Oppo A36 is equipped with a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display that offers HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate support. It also has a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner. The bezels around the display are thin, except for the chin.

The Oppo A36 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot as well. It has a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It boots Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 skin.

The back of the phone has a dual-camera setup with an LED flash tucked inside the rectangular module. The phone features a 13MP main camera and a 2MP portrait lens. It comes with an 8MP front camera and an aperture of f/2,0 for selfies.
