After launching the Oppo A53 smartphone in India recently, the company has announced the 5G version of the Oppo A53 with few changes in home-country China. Here is everything you need to know about the new Oppo A53 5G smartphone.

Oppo A53 5G Specifications

There is a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, 120 Hz touch sampling rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The Oppo A53 5G has 4GB/6GB of RAM and it comes with 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage or 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device also comes with a slot for further expansion via a microSD card.

On the back, the rear triple-camera setup has a 16-megapixel main shooter, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.  On the front, the handset comes fitted with an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 10 with the company’s own ColorOS 7.2 custom skin. All of these get their fuel from a 4,040 mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. Lastly, the device measures 162.2 x 75 x 7.9 mm and weighs 175g.

Oppo A53 5G Pricing, Availability

Oppo A53 5G comes in Purple, Lake Green, and Black color options. Last but not least, the handset will retail for 1,299 Yuan (approx. Rs 14,600) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It also comes in a 6GB + 128GB model, but the pricing for it is unclear.
