Oppo is all set to unveil a new smartphone in India. As per the teaser shared by the company, Oppo will launch the Oppo A9 (2020) smartphone in India on September 16. Now, while we wait for the launch, the smartphone is officially listed on Amazon India website along with the ‘notify me’ button and few highlighting features.

Oppo has been teasing the details of its upcoming smartphone via its social media handles. Along with the launch date, the teaser also showed off some of the other highlighting features of the upcoming September 16, which includes a 48-megapixel Ultra Wide Quad Camera, an 8GB RAM & 128GB ROM. Unfortunately, there is no information available regarding the Oppo A9 (2020) India price. It is expected to be priced around Rs 20,000 in India.

According to the previous report and TENAA listing, Oppo A9 2020 will sport an HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, it is likely to pack MediaTek Helio P70 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is tipped to pack massive 5000mAh battery onboard.

There will be a quad-camera setup on the rear with 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, LED flash, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and another 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, it will come equipped with a 16-megapixel shooter. The handset will run on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It measures 163.6×75.6×9.1mm and will weigh around 195 grams.
