Vivo is working on a new 5G version of the NEX smartphone, called Vivo NEX 3 5G, which the company may launch in the forthcoming months. There is no official word on the launch date of the smartphone by Vivo, however, report says that Vivo will announce non-5G and 5G variants of the Vivo NEX 3 smartphone on September 16. Now the handset spotted on the Geekbench. The Geekbench listing of the Vivo NEX 3 5G has thrown some light on the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
In the GeekBench listing, the Vivo NEX 3 5G with the model number V1924A got 3627 points in the single-core test and in multi-core test it received 11347 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Vivo NEX 3 5G has 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 855+ 1.78 GHz octa-core processor. The handset is based on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
Earlier, Vivo NEX 3 5G with model number V1924A/T has appeared on TENAA with full specifications. According to the TENAA listing, it will feature a 6.89-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2256 x 1080 pixels.
For photography, it will sport a triple camera setup with a combination of a 64-megapixel primary lens along with a 13-megapixel secondary sensor and a 13-megapixel third sensor. On the front, the NEX 3 5G will come equipped with a 16-megapixel camera. The smartphone is likely to come with a pop-up selfie camera.
Under the hood, it will be fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC paired with Adreno 640 GPU. The device will boast Snapdragon X50 chip that enables 5G connectivity. The phone will have 8GB /12GB of RAM variants with 28GB, 256GB and 512GB of internal storage. It will pack 4500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The Vivo NEX 3 5G measures 167.44 x 76.14 x 9.4mm and weighs 218.5 grams.
