OPPO F15 Scheduled to Arrive in India on January 16, Teased on Flipkart

Earlier reports have suggested that the Oppo’s new F-series smartphone will launch in India in February month. Now, Flipkart India has set up a dedicated microsite teasing the Oppo F15 launch on January 16.

A teaser on Flipkart also reveals that the smartphone will come with a 4,000mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology. The company claims to deliver 2 hours of talk time with 5 minutes charge on the new phone with this VOOC 3.0. The quad-camera setup on the rear of OPPO F15 will include a primary sensor of 48 MP. 

The phone will arrive with an 8GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage and in-display fingerprint 3.0. With the new in-display fingerprint technology, Oppo F15 users will be able to unlock the phone in just 0.32 seconds.

As revealed by the company earlier, the OPPO F15 will feature an ‘ultra-thin design’ with 7.9mm thickness and the device will weigh only 172 grams. As teased on Flipkart, the smartphone will pack a quad-camera that is aligned vertically with three color gradient design. On the front, the teaser reveals, it will come with a water-drop style notch on top with thinner bezels on the sides. 

A report by TheMobileIndian revealed that the smartphone is likely to be priced under Rs. 20,000. Moreover, few reports are also suggesting that the Oppo F15 will be the rebranded version of recently launched Oppo A91.

Oppo A91 Specifications 

The OPPO A91 packs a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and full-HD+ resolution. The display also has the support for an eye protection mode as well as DC dimming 2.0. The smartphone comes with an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

It runs on Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.1. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. Powering the phone is a 4,025mAh battery that supports VOOC technology..

For photography, the quad-camera setup on the backside includes a 48-megapixel main camera, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle snapper, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. There is also a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
