Google announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL last year and we’ve been hearing rumors about the mid-range Lite versions of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, believed to be the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL.

For the past few months, we’ve seen few leaks and hands-on images of the Google’s alleged Pixel 3 ‘Lite’ smartphone. Now, a video review of the pre-production version of Pixel 3 Lite has leaked online and the video render of upcoming Pixel 3 Lite give us the best look at the upcoming Google smartphone.

With most of the world’s smartphone manufacturers opting to replace the 3.5mm headphone jack with the USB-C port, the Pixel 3 Lite video render leak shows 3.5mm headphone jack is staying. Google removed the 3.5mm audio jack on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 3-series smartphones for USB Type-C port.

The video leak — if valid — could come as a relief for those who were hoping Apple will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack. The Pixel 3 Lite review video even shows the complete design of the phone. Talking about the design, the back of fhe phone is made from plastic, instead of glass and metal, as seen on the Pixel 3. According to the previous reports, the device is expected to come with 5.56-inch full HD+ resolution screen with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 while the it could be launched running on the Snapdragon 670 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM and options of two storage variants, 32GB and 64GB. The Pixel 3 Lite has a 2915 mAh battery and the reviewer said in the review that the battery backup on the device is good, considering the capacity. However, there is no official information on the release date of Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite, but the reviewer belives that it might unveil after Google I/0 2019.
