Realme which is popular in India for its budget smartphones unveiled its third iteration Realme 3 to disrupt the budget smartphone segment with an attractive price. This device was launched last week in India which is now going up for its first sale in India. Realme 3 will go on sale from today at 12 noon via Flipkart and realme.com.
The key selling points of this device it is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 and sports a waterdrop notch on top of the display and backed by a 4,230mAh battery.
The company already working with the offline smartphone market in India. Where the new smartphone Realme 3 is announced to be available on the offline market through out the country, but the company did not give any confirm date about its offline availability.
Price and launch offers.
The Realme 3 base variant 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version is priced at Rs 8,999. And the top variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 10,999. The Realme aimed the millennials with its killing price where you can get a phone with attractive features. However, this price is effective only for the first one million users. Realme will likely increase the price after it crosses the one million sales mark. The smartphone will be available in three colour options of which Classic Black and Dynamic Black.
As per offers on the smartphone, both the storage variants of Realme 3 will come with Rs 500 instant discount applicable on HDFC credit and debit cards. Additionally, the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant will also receive Rs 500 instant discount on EMI through HDFC bank cards. And you can also avail Jio offers like worth Rs 5,300 with the phone. To be noted all these offers will available exclusively on Flipkart.com. Customers buying through realme.com will receive 20% super cash through MobiKwik.
Specifications and features:
At such price segment, Realme 3 got 3D unibody design with a regular plastic material and gradient colours topping on its with a soothing look. The device will feature a 6.2-inch HD+ display with 1520×720 resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and a water drop notch on top too. At the heart, the device is powered by 12nm MediaTek Helio P70 processor coupled with Mali-G72 GPU.
On imaging duties, Realme 3 has a 13MP primary camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture clubbed with another 2MP camera sensor for depth sensing. Up the front, there is a 13Mp Selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The camera also features a Chroma Boost– for dynamic range and colours, and Night Scape mode– for clearer pictures in low-light conditions.
For the battery, The device houses a 4,230mAh battery with 10w cable charger in the box, but there is no Type-C port or fast charging. The device uses the older micro-USB port for charging. The phone runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie.
