Realme is on a launch spree, the Oppo‘s spin-off has has launched Realme 7, Realme 7 Pro and Realme Narzo 20 series smartphones within the last 30 days. Recently, a report emerged on internet claiming that the Realme 7i will be launching soon in India as Realme 7 Pro SE which we found a bit interesting. Now, Realme India has officially confirmed that it will launch Realme 7i in the country on October 7th, which was launched in Malaysia last week.
The company confirmed the arrival of the phone on Twitter. It has also shared a poster that shows a tagline ‘Capture Sharper. Play Smoother ’. The Realme 7i will launch on 7th October at 12:30 PM IST. The teaser image also claims that the upcoming Realme smartphone will be the first to offer 64MP camera in the segment.
Although the teaser on social media doesn’t reveal much about the Realme 7i, we already know the entire specifications from the earlier launch in Indonesia.
According to the earlier leak, Realme 7i will launch in two storage variants in India – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. Furthermore, the smartphone reportedly launching in two colours: Fusion Green and Fusion Blue.
Considering the Realme 7i Indonesian price which is 31,99,000 Indonesian Rupiah (roughly. Rs. 15,885) for its single 8GB/128GB variant, the smartphone is likely to launch in Indian market under Rs 15,000.
Realme 7i Specifications
Realme 7i flaunts 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It has 2GHz Snapdragon 662 octa-core processor under the hood alongside 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
On the backside, it sports quad-camera module which comprises a 64-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel black and white sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 2-megapixle macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. The punch-hole cutout on the front includes a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.1 aperture.
The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It ships with Android 10 OS based on Realme UI.
Cnnectivity options on the device include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
