Realme 8 5G Passes Through Geekbench Revealing the Key Specifications

The Realme 8 was launched in March as a successor to the Realme 7. However, the phone will soon get a 5G variant. An earlier report revealed that Realme is rumored to be bringing a new 5G variant of its Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro smartphone to the Indian market on April 22. And today we bring you one more leak of the upcoming Realme phone. MySmartPrice spotted the 5G version of the Realme 8 on benchmarking site Geekbench.

The listing on Geekbench reveals that the Realme 8 5G has model number RMX3241 and it runs on Android 11 OS. It has 8GB of RAM. The benchmark score and the processor specs in the listing further confirm that the smartphone packs the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC. According to the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the device scored 570 and 1766 respectively.

Furthermore, tipster Mukul Sharma has come across a promo video of the phone through which its key details have been revealed. The promo video showcases that the Realme 8 5G will look similar to the 4G variant that launched in India. Even though the front design is not revealed in the video, it is likely to look similar to the 4G variant as well.

Based on the FCC listing, the Realme 8 5G ships with Android 11 OS with the company’s own Realme UI 2.0 skin. It measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.5mm and weighs 185 grams. The phone will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. Connectivity features will include Wi-fi 802.11ac, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, NFC.

Realme 8 is fitted with a 6.4-inch sAMOLED FHD+ display, with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 1000 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset and offers up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The company has also added copper liquid cooling technology for controlling thermals. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The triple camera setup on the rear includes a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide with 119-degree FOV, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, you get a 16MP selfie camera. Backed by a 5000mAh battery, it supports 30W charging. It runs Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS and comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, Type-C port.
