It’s official that Realme GT Neo2 will launch on October 13 in India. The smartphone was already launched in China. According to Realme, it has a Snapdragon 870 SoC. 
Realme confirmed the news officially on its Twitter account. In a tweet, the company revealed that the Realme GT Neo2 is scheduled to launch at 12:30 PM IST on October 13. Furthermore, the tweet mentions a 120Hz E4 AMOLED display and a 65W SuperDart charge on the phone.
The smartphone’s landing page is now available on Realme India’s website that also confirms that Realme GT Neo2 will have an E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 600Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, the phone is also confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor.
Three variants of the Realme GT Neo2 are available in China. Yuan 2,499 (approx.Rs 28,500) is the price of the 8GB RAM + 128GB model. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variants are priced at Yuan 2,699 (approx. Rs 30,800) and Yuan 2,999 (approx. Rs 34,200), respectively.
According to reports, the phone will likely retail for around Rs 30,000 in India. The Realme teaser confirms that Green will be the colour option for the phone. The phone is also expected to launch in India in black and blue color options.
Realme GT Neo 2 Specifications
Realme GT Neo 2 has a 6.22-inch E4 AMOLED display with a resolution of Full HD+ 2400 * 1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1300 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 600Hz touch sampling rate, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
A Snapdragon 870 5G chipset is present under the hood of this device. In addition to the 12GB of RAM, there is 256GB of internal storage on the device.
It has a triple-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There is a 16MP front-facing camera on the device.
In order to dissipate heat, there is a diamond ice core cooling system that covers 7932mm² surface area with aerospace-grade cooling gel. The company claims that the device dissipates heat 20 percent better than the Realme GT Neo.
This handset offers dual-SIM connectivity, 4G VoLTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, and NFC, as well as a USB Type-C port. It has stereo speakers which offer Dolby Atmos Hi-Res Audio support. A 5000mAh battery powers the Realme GT Neo 2 and supports 65W fast charging. It ships with Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 skin on top. It measures 162.9×75.8×8.6mm and weighs 199.8 grams.
