Realme is all set to launch Realme X in India on July 15. The latest listing on Flipkart also confirmed that this smartphone will be Flipkart Exclusive. We already posted that the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi K20 Series will also be available on Flipkart after the launch on July 15.
Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme India already confirmed that the price of Realme X will be around Rs.18,000. On the other hand, Redmi K20 is also expected to come with a similar price tag. So both these upcoming smartphones will compete with each other very soon.
The listing on Flipkart shows insights about a survey ” What does the “pop-up” generation want in their favourite phone?” under the hashtag #RealVoiceOfIndia. The statistics indicate that 62% of people voted for a stylish Pop-up camera, 59% of people want a notch-less full-screen display, 66% of people asked for a super-fast charging battery and 81% of people want a brilliant rear camera.
The main reason for showing these insights is to highlight the features which Realme X got. Realme X will be exclusively available on Flipkart along with the Official Realme Online Store.
Realme X Specifications
As launched in China, Realme X features a 6.53-inch FHD + Super AMOLED screen with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and a 91% screen to body ratio. It houses an in-display fingerprint sensor and is powered by Snapdragon 710 processor.
Realme X may come in 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM options. It was launched in China in Steam White and Punk Blue gradient colours. It is also expected that the company may bring Special Onion and Garlic editions of Realme X to India.
It also sports a dual rear camera setup of a 48MP primary camera and a 5MP depth sensor camera. For selfies, it comes with a 16MP pop-up camera. It runs ColorOS 6 based on Android Pie OS and is backed by a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
