Realme X3 smartphone teased to launch in India on June 25

Oppo’s spin-off brand Realme had launched the Realme X2 smartphone in India in December last year and now the company seems to be all set to launch its successor. Realme has teased the launch of a new Realme X3 smartphone without revealing the exact launch date.

In a tweet, Realme India’s CEO Madhav Seth said “So many of you guessed our upcoming flagship right in my previous tweet, so here’s the reveal guys! Time to get you closer to the stars with #realmeX3!

Even though the exact launch date isn’t revealed by him, the Realme X3 is speculated to launch alongside the Realme X3 SuperZoom in India. We expect the company to share more details about this upcoming smartphone in the coming days after the launch date nears.

Earlier, the Realme X3 appeared on the Google Play Console listing with model number RMX2085L1 and the listing revealed that the device will feature a Full HD+ display (2400 x 1080 pixels). Going by the listing, the device will pack an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, 8GB of RAM and it will run on Android 10 OS out-of-the-box with Realme UI.

Realme X3 SuperZoom flaunts a 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a dual punch-hole selfie cameras, and the display supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, it is fuelled by the Snapdragon 855+ processor coupled with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The handset gets juice from a 4,200mAh battery that supports 30W Dart charge fast charging. Software-wise, it runs Android 10-based realme UI.

In the camera department, the Realme X3 SuperZoom has a quad rear camera setup that consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle f/2.3 lens and 119-degree field of view and a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. There will also be an 8-megapixel periscope lens capable of 60x digital zoom and 5x optical zoom. Upfront, there is a dual selfie camera setup with a 32-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX616 sensor, f/2.5 aperture and, an 8-megapixel camera 105° ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
