Recently, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 10A in China. The company has now confirmed the device will launch in India soon. Redmi India announced the launch of its upcoming entry-level smartphone on social media. As per the teaser shared by the brand, the Redmi 10A will be launched in the country on April 20.
Redmi 10A Price in India (Expected)
A 4GB + 64GB variant of the Redmi 10A costs RMB 649. In the Indian market, it will probably cost around 7,999. The smartphone is also available in a 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB variant for RMB 799 (roughly Rs 9,500) and RMB 899 (roughly Rs 10,720), respectively, in the Chinese market.
The device is available in three colors – Black, Blue, and Silver. There is a good chance that it will launch in all three colours in the Indian market, too.
Redmi 10A Specifications
In terms of display, it offers a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD display with 400nits brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch.
The phone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor, coupled with an integrated PowerVR GPU. This processor is also found inside the Redmi 9A.
The phone comes with a 13MP rear camera and an LED flash. The front of the device has a 5MP camera. The Redmi 10A features a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging through a micro-USB port.
Redmi 10A’s major upgrade compared to its predecessor is the inclusion of the fingerprint sensor. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack and a dedicated micro-SD card slot.
