Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has launched the Redmi A1+ budget smartphone in India. This is the second smartphone under the A1 series and it is aimed at those looking for affordable smartphones. To recall, the brand launched the Redmi A1 phone a few days back. The new Redmi A1+ packs a rear-facing fingerprint sensor that was missing in the Redmi A1.

The key highlights of the phone are the MediaTek A22 processor, the dual-rear camera setup, the 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support, and Android 12 (Go Edition). Here are the specifications, price, and other details of the Redmi A1+ in India.

Redmi A1+ Price in India, Availability  

Redmi A1+ is available in two storage options in India. The base model with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage is priced at Rs 7,499 whereas the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 8,499. You can buy the device in three color options: green, blue, and black.

As part of the Diwali sale, buyers can get the A1+ 2GB RAM variant for Rs 6,999 and 3GB RAM variant for Rs 7,999. This limited-time offer valid until October 31. Beginning October 17, the A1+ will be available on Mi.com, Mi Home Stores, Flipkart, and other retail channels.

Redmi A1+ Specifications

Specs-wise, the A1+ is equipped with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a standard 60Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a water-drop notch at the top for the front camera.

The A1+ is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC coupled with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Through a MicroSD card, storage can be expanded up to 512 GB.

The back of the phone has a dual-camera setup with a primary camera of 8MP and a depth camera of 2MP. There is an 8MP selfie camera on the front of the A1+. 

In addition to a 5000mAh battery, the phone supports 10W charging.  The phone comes pre-loaded with Android 12 (Go Edition).
