Xiaomi’s next 5G phone series called the Redmi Note 9 5G series is currently being tipped to launch on November 24. While nothing is confirmed officially from the Chinese smartphone maker, the leak comes from tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd). The Redmi Note 9 5G series has been leaked a few times over the past couple of weeks and today, we got a launch date for the series.
According to the tweet from a tipster, Redmi is likely to reveal the launch date for the Redmi Note 9 5G series soon. Further, he added that the launch could take place through an event next Tuesday (November 24). As per the tweet, Redmi Note 9 5G (Redmi Note 9 Standard Edition) is tipped to be priced at CNY 1,000 (approx Rs. 11,300), whereas the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G (Redmi Note 9 High Edition) will cost CNY 1,500 (approx. Rs. 17,000).
It is expected that the Redmi Note 9 5G-series is going to have Redmi Note 9 High Edition and Redmi Note 9 Standard Edition.
Redmi Note 9 5G Specifications
It is expected to feature a 6.53-inch full HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels. The handset reportedly packs MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC and is likely to launch with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM and with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options. It also has support for microSD cards (512GB).
The Redmi Note 9 5G will reportedly flaunt a display with a punch-hole cutout to house the 13MP selfie snapper. It’s said to house a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor. Other features will include a 4,900mAh battery and 5G support. It is expected to measure 161.96×77.25×9.20mm and weigh 200 grams.

Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is said to feature a 6.67-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display. It will be fuelled by an unspecified octa-core processor (likely to be the Snapdragon 750G So). It is said to come with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM and with 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of internal storage.
The phone will have a 108MP primary camera on the back and a 16MP sensor. It might pack a 4,720mAh battery. It is expected to measure 165.4×76.8×9.0mm and weigh 214.5 grams.
