Vivo unveiled a new phone Vivo Y12s under its Y-series. Priced at HK$ 1,098(roughly. Rs 10,540), the phone comes in a single 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The Vivo Y12s features a 6.51-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 720X1600 pixels. The display has a dewdrop notch, bringing a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The Vivo Y12s packs a MediaTek Helio P35 processor which is paired with 3GB of RAM. There is also a 32GB storage onboard with the option of expanding the storage via microSD card.

For photography, the smartphone packs a dual rectangular camera setup. The camera setup consists of a 13-megapixel main camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel with an f/2.4 aperture. Under the dewdrop notch, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The device runs FuntouchOS 11 based on Android 10 OS and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh built-in battery. The phone measures 164.41 x 76.32 x 7.41mm and it weighs 191 grams. You also get connectivity options like dual 4G VoLTE, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
