Samsung Foldable Phone Specs Leaked: Expected to Announce On November 7

Samsung is set to announce its first foldable device during the company’s annual developer conference in San Francisco on November 7 and 8. Reports claim that the first foldable device Galaxy F may have the model number SM-F900U, and it will be accompanied with firmware version F900USQU0ARJ5 and the foldable phone will have a two display. The device will also support dual-SIM slots and said to feature a unique Android UI that blends well with its folding capabilities.

Foldable Smartphone with 7.29-inch Display

The first foldable smartphone from Samsung will have two Super AMOLED displays. The main display is expected to be the 7.29-inches whereas the secondary display will measure 4.58-inches.  When unfolded, this device will serve as a tablet and when folded, it will serve as a smartphone. Mass production is set to begin from November at 100000 units per month. During company’s annual developer conference in San Francisco on November 7 and 8, Samsung is likely to share some details about this foldable phone. The device will reportedly come with an OLED flexible display.

World’s First Foldable Smartphone Introduced by Royole

California-based start-up Royole has already launched the world’s first foldable smartphone. The first foldable phone from Royale is named as FlexPai and it is available to consumers priced from 8,999 to 12,999 yuan ($1,295.49 to $1,871.33).

The Royale FlexPai comes with a 7.8-inch AMOLED display with 1920 x 1440 Full HD+ resolution and it runs on a flagship Snapdragon SoC. The foldable smartphone with features up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. In the camera department, the FlexPai has a 16MP + 20MP dual-camera setup.
