Samsung kicked off its latest cheapest midrange smartphone Galaxy A10 sale In India Today. To be noted, The smartphone was launched late in the last month along with Galaxy A30 and A50. This handset is the most affordable model in the new Galaxy A Series. The device is available with a price tag at Rs 8,490.

This handset is available only in single storage variant -2GB RAM and 32GB storage. perhaps the device available in three colour options-red, blue and black colours. Unlike Galaxy M-Series, Galaxy A10 will be available both on Online and offline stores. Interested buyers can purchase the device from Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm and Samsung’s online store. The Galaxy A10 will also be available at retail stores across India.

This year Samsung is quite busy in unveiling its bunch of midrange smartphones along with premium lineup. While the launch of Galaxy A10 at such price segment, the company took a step ahead in its budget segment which is already flooded by devices from competing for smartphone makers like Realme and Xiaomi.

Speaking about the specifications, The device flaunts a aplastic body on its back and a a 6.2-inch Infinity V display running at HD+ resolution (720x1520pixels), and an aspect ratio of 19:9 making it more like a budget smartphone. The device at the heart is fuelled by the compnay’s latest Exynos 7884 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.6GHz with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is a memory expansion option available via a dedicated microSD card slot.

For imaging, the company includes a single rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel snapper bears an aperture of f/1.9. The camera is backed with an LED flash as well. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling. The device is quite disappointing as it lacks a fingerprint scanner at the back but manages with a face unlock feature with a front camera.

For power up the device, the handset is housed by a a 3,400mAh battery and comes with standard 5W charging over microUSB.On the software front, it comes with Android Pie OS with One UI skin on top.
