Moto G7 Smartphone Teased for India Launch

Lenovo owned Motorola has teased the launch of its Moto G7 smartphone, in India. The company had launched the Moto G7 series in Brazil back in February and now, they are planning to launch it in India. The company teased the new smartphone launch on Twitter. In a tweet, Motorola said, “Make that Monday look count for you coz the sexy #motog7 is coming soon! Share your pictures showing how #stylematterstoyou to win it.”

The teaser video on the tweet clearly hints towards the launch of the Motorola G7 in the country. Unfortunately, the company has not revealed the exact launch timeline for the upcoming flagship. We can expect to hear more on the smartphone in the coming days.

Moto G7 Price in India

Coming to the pricing of the Moto G7 series, the Moto G7 starts at $299, which roughly converts to Rs 21,300. The Moto G7 Power is priced $249 (approx. Rs 17,800), Moto G7 Plus is priced at $340 (approx. INR 23,000) and the Moto G7 Play retails for $199, which is approximately Rs 14,200. Indian pricing of the Moto G7 series hasn’t been leaked yet.

To recall, the Moto G7 launched in Brazil with a 6.24-inch Max Vision display with full-HD+ resolution. The Moto G7 has a water-repellent design that shields it against accidental spills and sweat. It packs Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the screen to guard against scratches. Under the hood, the device is fuelled by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz, paired by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device has a microSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 128GB via microSD card. In terms of optics, the Moto G7 boasts dual rear camera setup, comprising of a 12-megapixel f/1.8 sensor and a 5-megapixel f/2.2 sensor. Up front, the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone runs Stock Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
