Samsung Galaxy J4+ and J6+ unveiled with infinity displays and quad-core processors

Samsung has finally unveiled its two new smartphones Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+ on Tuesday. With a lot of rumours from past few weeks revealed a day head of expected announcement. Samsung expected the day to launch the Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+ today for the Indian market. To recollect these two smartphones already listed on the respective company website along with their specifications.

The key pointing highlights of the new J-series phone is that they sport Infinity Display. The Samsung Galaxy J6+ come with a fingerprint scanner on the side. Whereas for the Galaxy J4+ this is another region dependent feature.

Talking about specifications, both smartphones sports 6” screens with 720 x 1,480px resolution and both are powered by a quad-core processor (1.4GHz, possibly the Exynos 7570 Quad from the Galaxy J4). Coming to memory configurations, the Galaxy J6+ comes with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage. The Galaxy J4+ has 2/3GB of RAM and 16/32GB of storage.

On the optics, The Samsung Galaxy J6+ has a dual camera on the rear with 13 MP primary sensor (f/1.9 aperture) and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture). On the front, the handset sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy J4+ has a more modest setup with a single 13MP camera on the back. For selfies, a 5MP selfie camera.

Both smartphones are fuelled with 3,300mAh batteries and both run Android 8.1 Oreo.

From the above what we can say is these two smartphones are identical in specs but beyond that, they are identical, including the dimensions and weight. In terms of connectivity both bears with the LTE Cat. 4, to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, positioning (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou) and optional NFC (region dependent).

Pricing

The Samsung Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+ price are India yet to revealed.
