Samsung Galaxy S11 appears on Geekbench listing, alleged processor and RAM details revealed

Samsung Galaxy S11 may be launching soon. The next flagship smartphone in the premium line from the South Korean giant would have appeared on the GeekBench list, indicating that it will be equipped with a Exynos 9830 SoC processor and 12GB of RAM. The smartphone was also seen using Android Q on the platform. As usual, there will be a Snapdragon 965 SoC version for some regions.

Samsung could be now internally testing the upcoming Galaxy S11 since a smartphone labelled as “SM-G986” has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform. As expected, the Exynos 9830 is present under the hood of the phone clocked at a base frequency of 1.95GHz. The SoC is supported by 12GB of RAM and it is loaded with the latest Android Q OS.

In the single-core test, the alleged Galaxy S11 has scored 427 points. In the multi-core test, the device has recorded a score of 2326 points.

In a separate post, popular leakster Ice Universe has shared zoomed-in versions of the Samsung Galaxy S11 CAD renders leaked earlier. It shows a separate laser autofocus system situated on the bottom right edge of the camera module. This hints that the forthcoming Galaxy S11 series will come with a dedicated laser autofocus system to improve the focusing in photos.

According to the rumors, there will be a total of five Galaxy S11 series models with the smaller two coming in both 4G and 5G versions and the Plus version launching as a 5G-only version. Talking about the specifications and features, it is tipped to come with punch-hole display, OneUI 2.0 based on Android 10, and a 120Hz display refresh rate. Samsung Galaxy S11 series is expected to sport a 108-megapixel main rear camera, and one of the model, the Galaxy S11e is expected to pack a 3,730mAh battery.
