Samsung’s First Foldable Phone Might be called Samsung Galaxy Fold

We came across several leaks and rumors around the Samsung’s foldable phone from past few years. But now company seems gearing up for the launch of foldable phone and latest report reveals that Samsung foldable smartphone may be called Galaxy Fold and not Galaxy Flex, Galaxy Foldable or the Galaxy X.


Samsung has confimed to use ‘Infinity Flex Display’ for the foldable smartphone that lets users open and close it again without any degradation.

Samsung is expected to launch their first foldable phone early next year. Reports claim that the Samsung Galaxy Fold, a foldable phone from Samsung could debut in March 2019.

Few other companies are also working on the foldable phone and recently, California-based start-up Royole has already launched the world’s first foldable smartphone named ‘FlexiPai’.

Samsung Galaxy Fold Specifications

The first foldable smartphone from Samsung will have two Super AMOLED displays. The main display is expected to be the 7.29-inches whereas the secondary display will measure 4.58-inches. When unfolded, this device will serve as a tablet and when folded, it will serve as a smartphone. The device will reportedly come with an OLED flexible display. The foldable phone will run One UI instead of the Experience UI.
