It is no secret that Sony is working on Xperia 1 III smartphone and the company has scheduled an event for April 14 where it is expected to unveil this phone alongside few other products. The leak comes courtesy of a tipster on Weibo (Zackbuks). As for the price, the tipster speculates that the Sony Xperia 1 III price will be CNY 8,999 (roughly Rs. 1,00,500) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. There is no word about the other variants yet. There is also expected to be a 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model exclusively for the Bank of China.

Sony Xperia 1 III Specifications
According to the leaked spec sheet, the Sony Xperia 1 III bears the 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED 10bit display with 1,300 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Further, the spec sheet reveals that the device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Concerning optics, the phone will have a triple camera setup on the rear with a combination of a 63-megapixel wide-angle main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle secondary sensor, and a third 12-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with “Cyber-shot“ lossless zoom capabilities. Earlier leaks revealed that the phone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and support for 5G.
