Vivo launched its 120W Ultra-High Power Charging Technology “Super Flash Charge” on Wednesday. Vivo launched this at the ongoing MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2019 at Shanghai.

This new charging technology will be the fastest ever charging technologies available now. Vivo also claimed that it can charge a 4000mAh battery in just 13 minutes.

Vivo also said in a statement revealing Lab Test data of the Super Flash Charge Technology which confirms that this technology will charge a 4000mAh battery from 0% – 50% in just five minutes. It will take only 13 minutes to charge 100%. Vivo is also planning to launch a commercial 5G smartphone which may be made available in the market by the last quarter of 2019.

With this new 120W charger, users will also get new charging pump technology, a customizable Type-C cable and a travel charger. As we also know that Xiaomi also teased its 100W Super Turbo Charge Technology which will charge a 4000mAh battery in 17 minutes. But the Vivo’s 120W charger with Super Flash Charge Technology will charge in less time compared with the 100W Turbo Charge Technology from Xiaomi. Which also makes Vivo’s latest technology the fastest charging technology available till now.

However, the company did not confirm when will it start the production of 120W Fast Charge Technology at a large scale. It is also believed that Vivo can offer 120W Super Flash Charging technology in its upcoming flagship smartphone.

Vivo launched its gaming smartphone Vivo iQOO gaming smartphone in April this year. This smartphone comes with a 44W Fast Charging Technology which is capable to charge a 4000mAh battery in 45 minutes.
