After launching the Vivo V15 Pro in India, the Chinese giant is all set to unveil Vivo V15 smartphone in India at an event scheduled for March 15. On March 15, we might see the unveiling of the Vivo V15, toned down variant of the Vivo V15 Pro introduced last week.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Vivo V15 sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ Ultra FullView display. It further boasts Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

As for the optics, the Vivo V15 bears a triple camera set up at the back, featuring a 12-megapixel f/1.78 primary sensor, along with the 8-megapixel f/2.2 lens and 5-megapixel f/2.4 sensors. There is also a pop-up selfie shooter of the 32-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.

On the software terms, the device runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie. Moving on, it draws its juice from a large 4,000mAh battery that supports Dual Engine fast charging.

According to the report by 91mobiles, the Vivo V15 will go on sale in India for Rs 22,990 on March 15. It is expected to be made available from offline stores and e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon India. The company hasn’t made any announcements regarding the price and availability of the Vivo V15. So, we have to wait for the launch to get more information on the device.

To recall, the Vivo V15 Pro device is powered by a Snapdragon 675 chipset is paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone ticks all the day by housing a 3,700mAh battery with “Dual Engine” fast charging. The company claims the charging of device for 15 minutes can last for standby 6 hours.

In the camera department, the Vivo V15 Pro houses an AI-enabled triple-camera setup on the rear with three lenses arranged in a vertical fashion. This line-up includes a 48MP quad pixel primary sensor, with effective capabilities of a 12MP sensor. There is an 8MP secondary super-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a third 5MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 32 Mp pop up selfie shooter.
