Vivo introduced the Vivo Y22 in India as a mid-range smartphone. The latest Y-lineup phone from Vivo supports 4G connectivity.

Vivo Y22 Price in India, Availability

In India, the Vivo Y22 is priced at Rs 14,499 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and Rs 16,499 for the another variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Starting today, the device will be available for purchase across all offline and online retailers — including Vivo’s own e-store. 

The manufacturer is offering up to Rs 1,000 off on offline purchases of the smartphone using SBI Card, Kotak Mahindra, and One Card credit cards. Customers can receive up to 750 off when using HDFC Bank credit cards or EMIs.

Vivo Y22 Specifications

The front panel of the device features a 6.55-inch HD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Vivo Y22 is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G70 SoC, an affordable chipset with 4G support. The device comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, expandable to 1TB with a memory card.

Featuring a dual camera setup, it consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. 

With a 5000mAh battery, the phone offers 18W fast charge support that can charge up to 70% in just 70 minutes.

It runs Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. Additionally, the phone has a fingerprint sensor on the side. 

In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, a USB Type C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
