Vivo Y55 4G unveiled with Snapdragon 680 SoC, triple-rear cameras

Vivo unveiled a new smartphone in Vietnam as part of the Y series, named the Vivo Y55 4G, the handset is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC. It appears to be the rebranded iQOO Z6 44W that was launched in India recently. The smartphone is also equipped with an AMOLED display, fast charging support, etc.Vivo Y55 4g Launched

Vivo Y55 4G Price, Availability

The Vivo Y55 retails at VND 6,990,000 (approx Rs 23,200) with a single 8GB + 128GB variant in Vietnam. It is available in Snow White and Black Star colors.

Vivo Y55 4G Specifications

The Vivo Y55 4G boasts a 6.44-inch full-HD+ display with a 1,080×2,400 pixels screen resolution, an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. As for the hardware, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

Vivo Y55 4G comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture lens, and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.0.

The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery capacity and 44W FlashCharge support. In terms of connectivity, the device offers a 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Software-wise, it ships with Android 12-based FunTouch OS 12.

In other news, Vivo has slashed the prices of Vivo Y21 and Vivo Y21e phones in India. Now, the Vivo Y21 4GB + 64GB version costs Rs 13,490 while the 4GB + 128GB version costs Rs 14,990. 

Vivo Y21e, on the other hand, costs Rs 12,490 for a single 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The smartphones are already available through Vivo’s online store and across all partner retail stores.
