The much-awaited Xiaomi CC series is coming in a couple of days. Just as Xiaomi’s latest smartphone is ready to enter the Chinese market, specifications of the Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e are already leaking out online making some buzz on it. Now, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch date of its CC series via Weibo. According to the reports, the Xiaomi CC9 series launch date is set for July 2.
Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun shared multiple posters and a promo video ahead of the launch of the new smartphones. As per his posts on Weibo, the Xiaomi CC series launch event will start at 7 pm local time on July 2.
Xiaomi Mi CC9e Specifications
Earlier reports revealed that the Xiaomi Mi CC9 will come with a 5.97-inch AMOLED display at 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. It will come powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor clubbed with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage, which we expect to be expandable via microSD card.
For photography, the phone will pack a massive 32-megapixel camera on the front. The device is likely to sport an OIS enabled triple camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 as the primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and the third lens of 5-megapixel.
A 3,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging through USB-C will complete the package. The handset will run MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie operating system.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 is expected to come with a 6.39-inch AMOLED full HD+ resolution display. Both the front and rear panels of the phone could be protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
In terms of imaging, this phone is also expected to come with a 32-megapixel selfie camera housed inside the font notch. On the rear side, the device might feature a triple camera setup that comprises of 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary lens, a 16-megapixel secondary lens, and a 12-megapixel third sensor. On the software front, this phone will also run MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 will be powered by Snapdragon 730 processor. In terms of battery, the handset is likely to come with a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging recharged via USB-C. The other features of the phone include in-display fingerprint reader, IR blaster and Hi Res-audio.
