Popular Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi Mi 9 ‘Transparent Edition’ and Mi 9 SE today at an event in China along with the Mi 9 flagship smartphone. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a smaller variant of Mi 9 with stripped-down specifications. The smartphone is the armed by Snapdragon 712 SoC, comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and 48-megapixel camera primary rear camera.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE Specifications
The Mi 8 SE features a 5.97-inch Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 color gamut, and 600 nits brightness. It has a waterdrop notch on the front. The device houses 3070mAh battery but lacks wireless charging facility. However, the Mi 9 SE has 18W fast charging support.
As you know, the Mi 9 flagship comes with a 48 MP + 12 MP + 16 MP cameras on the rear, the Mi 9 SE features 48 MP (Sony IMX586, 1.6 μm) + 8 MP (telephoto lens) + 13 MP (ultra-wide angle lens) cameras with LED flash. Up front, there is a 20 MP camera.
The device runs on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie. Connectivity features of the Mi 9 SE include 4G, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB Type-C (no 3.5 mm headphone jack).

The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is priced at RMB 1999 (approx. Rs 21,155) for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant. The smartphone is launched in Blue, Violet, Black color variants.
