Xiaomi Mi A3 Set to Launch in India on August 21

Xiaomi Mi A3 which was launched in the European market last month and the phone is now set to make its way to the India markets on August 21. The Xiaomi Mi A3 is a re-branded Android One version of the Mi CC9e smartphone that was recently launched in China.

As per the teaser shared by the company, Xiaomi will launch the Mi A3 smartphone in India on August 21. Xiaomi has been teasing the details of its upcoming smartphone via its social media handles. Along with the launch date, the teaser also showed off some of the other highlighting features of the upcoming Mi A3, which includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a triple rear camera setup.

As mentioned before, Xiaomi has already launched the Mi A3 in European markets. The brand is expected to launch the smartphone with similar specifications in India as well. The smartphone would be exclusively available for buyers on Amazon India.

Xiaomi Mi A3 Specifications

In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi Mi A3 sports a 6.08-inch HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. There’s a teardrop notch on top of the display and a 2 Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset which is an octa-core processor. The phone comes in two storage options- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. In addition, there’s a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

For photography, it has a triple rear camera setup that comprises of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for depth sensing. On the front, we get to see a 32-megapixel shooter. On the software front, the Mi A3 runs pure stock Android 9 Pie out of the box, and it’s backed by a 4030mAh battery.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
