Xiaomi is all set to unveil its Mi Mix 3 smartphone in an event in Beijing, China, taking place between the walls of the Forbidden City. Mi Mix 3 follows the Mi Mix 2S, that was launched at the start of the year. The smartphone is already been showcased in a video and we know that it will feature a sliding display with slim bezels all around. Thanks to the touting camera module, the Mi Mix 3 achieves a nearly bezel-less design as the front cameras are tucked in behind the display.

As the company confirmed about the new device is to support 5G and come with 10GB RAM. It is expected to run on the Snapdragon 845 SoC and the new leaked images of the phone suggest a 6GB RAM version with 128GB of internal storage and the phone is running on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie.

On the camera front, The smartphone sports four cameras two on the front and two on the back. The dual front cameras are 24MP 2MP. The dual rear cameras come with a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, having a lens of 1.6 microns. The secondary 12MP sensor comes with a f/2.4 aperture and a lens of 1.0 micron. The phone’s rear cameras come with AI-based features, as well as HDR support and slow-motion videos at 960 fps.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 sports a rear-mounted round fingerprint sensor. The phone will be available in three colour options – Blue, Green, and Black.

The phone comes with thin bezels and features 6.39-inch AMOLED display. It has a screen to body ratio of 93.4 per cent. The screen aspect ratio is 19.5:9.

The leaks suggest that its pricing could begin from 3700 yuan (Rs 39,050 approx.).
