Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series price, availability

Mi Pad 5 is available in two storage configurations. Base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs CNY 1999 (approx. Rs 22,900), while the 6GB + 256GB model costs CNY 2,299 (approx. Rs 26,400). Mi Pad 5 will be offered in Black, White, and Green colours.

The Mi Pad 5 Pro is priced at CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs 28,700) in China for the base 6GB + 128GB model. The 6GB + 256GB version costs CNY 2,799 (approx. Rs 32,200). There is also a 5G variant which costs CNY 3,499 (approx. Rs 40,200) and comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. There are two colors available: black and white.

Additionally, the company has released a stylus priced at CNY 349 (approx. Rs 4,500) and a keyboard cover priced at CNY 399 (approx. Rs 5,000).

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series specifications

There is an 11-inch LCD screen on both devices with a resolution of 2560*1600 pixels, support for 120Hz refresh rate, True Tone, Dolby Vision, HDR10, and a 500 nits brightness.

The backside of both devices feature dual cameras. There is a 13MP primary camera and a secondary 8MP camera on the Mi Pad 5 series (Wi-Fi). The 5G model of the pro variant has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor.

The front camera on the device is 5MP, so you can take selfies and video calls. A quad-speaker setup is included on the standard variant, while an eight-speaker setup is included on the Pro variant.

The standard model houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset, while the Pro model has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. On the Pro model, you get an 8,600 mAh battery, while the standard model has a bigger 8,720 mAh battery. The devices support both 67W wired fast charging and 33W wireless charging.

The devices come preloaded with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 OS. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port.
