The Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet will be launched in India on April 27 alongside the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The tablet is set to go on sale via Amazon India. The company has also created a dedicated page for the upcoming tablet with a “Notify Me” button.
To recall. Xiaomi launched the Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro back in China last year. Xiaomi Pad 5 was unveiled globally later and is now available in some markets.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Specifications
Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with an 11-inch WQHD+ (1,600×2,560 pixel) TrueTone display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and Dolby Vision and HDR10 support. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor, the tablet features 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the back with an LED flash. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera that can record video in 1080p.
An 8720mAh battery powers the tablet and supports 33W fast charging. It is claimed to offer up to 10 hours of gaming, 16 hours of video playback, and 5 days of music playback.
It runs Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 Pad OS skin. Furthermore, the tablet features quad speakers and supports Dolby Atmos. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, a USB Type-C port, and more. Additionally, the tablet includes Face Unlock and also supports a split-screen for multitasking.
