Xiaomi its new entry-level smartphone Redmi 7A smartphone in China. This phone is the slightly upgraded version of Redmi 6A which was launched earlier in 2018. The prices of this smartphone are yet to be confirmed by the company. It is expected that Xiaomi will reveal the prices of Redmi 7A on May 28, it is the same day the flagship smartphone series Redmi K20 will be launched.

Xiaomi Redmi 7A Specifications

Redmi 7A comes with a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and, 720×1440 pixels resolution. This smartphone runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie OS. This budget smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 439 processor. The RAM and internal storage information are not yet available, but the company confirmed that the internal storage can be expanded up to 265GB using a microSD card.

Redmi 7A also has a 13MP primary camera on the back and a 5MP selfie camera. It also comes with AI Face Unlock support. It is powered with a 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Connectivity features include  3.5mm audio jack, Micro-USB port, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.

Some leaks suggest that Redmi 7A with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage comes with a price starting RMB 599 [Rs 5,000 Approx] which is close to its predecessor Redmi 6A.
