Chinese smartphone giant, Huawei sub-brand Honor hosted Global launch event on Tuesday of its new Honor View 20 in paris.The Company’s latest smartphone comes with an impressive design that includes a punch-hole display and a gigantic 48 MP rear camera setup. The smartphones sports eye catchy glass back with the gradient paint job.

The key selling points of the device that comes with huge battery backup with 4000mAh and a  massive 48MP rear camera and a Kirin 980 chipset under the hood. The good news is that this premium phone is Coming to India next week on January 29.

Pricing:

During the launch event,The Honor View 20 base variant priced at EUR 569 (roughly Rs. 46,100) for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option,for higher variant 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option the device is priced at EUR 649 (roughly Rs. 52,500).This variant is available in only in the Moschino Co-Design edition. The base variant is available in two colour variants namely: Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colour options, while the Moschino Co-Design edition will be available in Phantom Blue and Phantom Red colour options.

The Honor View 20 will go up for sale from today in 18 countries including India where prebookings already started in Amazon India and HiHonor.

Specifications and features

Talking about features, The biggest highlight of the new device is its punch hole on display that houses selfie camera eventually ditches notch . The selfie camera hole sits on the top left edge corner, and the earpiece sits almost hidden along the frame at the top. The smartphone sports a bezelless display design from all other sides up front.

On Specifications, The Honor View 20 has a 6.4-inch screen with a 19.25:9 aspect ratio. It features a TFT LCD display with a full HD+ resolution of 2310×1080 with a 91.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, The device is armed by the 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core SoC paired by 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and the other with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

For shutterbugs, he Honor View 20 will come with a 25-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a fixed focus lens. The 48-megapixel rear camera comes with a Sony IMX586 sensor and an f/1.8 aperture. There’s a secondary 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor to capture the depth of an image, providing several 3D and beautification applications. The cmera supports 960fps slow-motion video recording, autofocus, AI HDR, and LED flash.

On the Software front, The device is running on Magic UI skin with preloaded Android 9.0 Pie. For the battery, The device is backed up by 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging (4.5V/5A). Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C.
