Chinese handset manufacturer Huawei will soon be launching its new flagship smartphone to take on the likes of the OnePlus 7 Pro and Redmi K20 Pro. Huawei’s next flagship smartphone, projected to be called the Huawei Nova 5’s screen protector has leaked suggesting the full screen display.
Going by the leaked screen protector, we expect the Huawei Nova 5 to feature a full-screen display, uninterrupted by a notch of any kind. Furthermore, the full screen display on the handset also hinting at the pop-up selfie camera mechanism or flip camera mechanism similar to what we’ve seen in the recently launched Asus Zenfone 6 and Samsung Galaxy A80 on the upcoming device.
Few weeks ago, a cases of the phone believed to be the Huawei Nova 5 appeared online and it revealed design of the rear side.
According to the reports, the upcoming Huawei Nova 5 could sport a OLED display without any notch. For security, the device might come with in-display fingerprint scanner. Huawei Nova 5 will be powered by the octa-core Kirin 980 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The device will be backed by the 3,500mAh battery with 40W fast charging facility.

In terms of optics, we might have Sony IMX58648MP camera at the rear. The rear-facing sensor will be accompanied by other cameras as well. For selfies, Huawei might offer a 25-megapixel camera.
