Moto G7 Confirmed to Launch on March 25 in India: Price, Specifications and More

Motorola announced the new G7 series by launching the Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power, and Moto G7 Play smartphones Brazil at the end of January 2019. The devices pack decent mid-range specifications and are made available in the number of markets along with Brazil.

As usual, the company will be launching these new devices in India, and the launch event is scheduled for March 25. While the company has mentioned only about the Moto G7, we also expect to see the Moto G7 Plus. As of now, there is no other official information about the specifications of these new devices in India, but we all know the specifications of the device as they are launched in other countries.

Moto G7 Specifications

Moto G7 launched in Brazil with a 6.24-inch Max Vision display with full-HD+ resolution. The Moto G7 has a water-repellent design that shields it against accidental spills and sweat. It packs Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the screen to guard against scratches. Under the hood, the device is fuelled by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz, paired by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device has a microSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 128GB via microSD card. In terms of optics, the Moto G7 boasts dual rear camera setup, comprising of a 12-megapixel f/1.8 sensor and a 5-megapixel f/2.2 sensor. Up front, the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone runs Stock Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

Moto G7 Price in India (Expected)

The Moto G7 was launched at the global launch event last month for a price tag of $299 (approx. Rs 20,700). According to the reports, the company will launch the Moto G7 in the Indian market in the sub-Rs 20,000 price range.
