OnePlus unveiled its next flagship device OnePlus 6T at an event in New York on Monday. The company is set to launch the same device formally in India on October 30 at an event in New Delhi. The OnePlus 6T is nearly same with several recent leaks and it sports a waterdrop notch, high-end specs, and an affordable price when compared against the 2018 flagship competition. The OnePlus 6T will look to take on flagship devices from competitors such as Apple iPhone XS, Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Samsung Note 9 and Mi Mix 3.

The OnePlus 6T sports a 6.41-inch full-HD+ Optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone has a small waterdrop notch. The iPhone XS gets a 5.8-inch (1125×2234 pixels) OLED Super Retina display. The Google Pixel 3 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio.

The OnePlus 6T is powered by an Octa-core processor coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM. The device packs up to 256 GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. The Apple iPhone XS is powered by a hexa-core processor and the iPhone XS packs up to 512 GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. Google Pixel 3 is powered by 2.5GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 128 GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded.

In terms of optics, the new OnePlus 6T features a 16-megapixel primary and 20-megapixel secondary camera sensor on the rear and an aperture of f/1.7 for the primary lens. The device also comes with a new Nightscape scene that optimizes the photos taken during the night. The Apple iPhone XS packs a 12-megapixel (f/1.8, 1.4-micron) + 12-megapixel (f/2.4) primary camera on the rear and a 7-megapixel front shooter for selfies and video calls. The Google Pixel 3 comes with a 12.2MP camera on the rear, paired with a wider f/1.8 aperture. Up front, there will be an 8MP + 8MP dual-cam set up. The Pixel 3 will have two front-facing cameras for Google’s “Group Selfie Camera” to get more details and scenes in the frame

The OnePlus 6T is powered by a 3700mAh non-removable battery. There is no wireless charging facility on the device. But the OnePlus 6T comes with the company’s proprietary Fast Charging technology. The iPhone XS has a 2,658mAh battery unit with support wireless charging. The Google Pixel 3 is powered by a 2915mAh non-removable battery with wireless charging support.

Rs. 42,500), and the 8GB+256GB Midnight Black variant priced at $629 (approx. Rs. 46,200). iPhone XS costs $999 (approx. Rs. 73,300) for the 64GB variant, $1,249 (approx. Rs. 91,600) for the 256GB variant, and $1,449 (approx. Rs. 1,06,300) for the 512GB variant. At last, Google Pixel 3 base model with 64GB storage is priced at Rs 71,000 in India while the 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 80,000.
