In April, popular Chinese brand OPPO launched its mid-range smartphone Oppo A9, which comes with a large display and Helio P70 processor. Now, the company is gearing up to launch the Oppo A9 in India.
Though Oppo has yet to reveal an official launch date for the Oppo A9, a new report indicates that the smartphone will soon be launched in India, carrying a competitive price tag. According to the reports, the Oppo A9 smartphone will be available with pricing starting at Rs 15,990 in India.

As mentioned, there is still no word from Oppo on when it plans to unveil the phone in India. It is worth noting that the smartphone was recently launched in China and we know almost everything about the device specs except the India price.
Oppo A9 Specifications
Oppo A9 comes with a 6.53-inch near bezel-less Full HD+ display that has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7 percent. Powering the device is an octa-core Helio P70 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset also has a microSD card slot for further expansion of the phone’s storage up to 256GB.
In terms of optics, the Oppo A9 features a dual-rear camera setup with 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel and a 16-megapixel AI-powered front-facing snapper with f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies and video calling. On the rear, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The device gets juice from a 4,020mAh battery that has VOOC 3.0 fast charging (20W) support. Connectivity options on the device include Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a micro-USB port. The smartphone is running Android Pie operating system out of the box with the company’s own ColorOS 6.0 custom interface on top.
To recall, the Oppo A9 price in China is RMB 1,799 (approx. Rs 18,000).
