In India, Poco has unveiled the Poco M5, a new smartphone in the M-series. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor and has a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
POCO M5 Price in India, Availability
POCO M5 comes in 4GB+128GB and 4GB+64GB variants in India at Rs 12,499 and Rs 14,499, respectively. There will be three colors available: POCO Yellow, Icy Blue, and Power Black. Starting September 13, the phone will be available on Flipkart.
As part of the Flipkart Big Billion Day sale and limited period offer, ICICI and Axis Bank cardholders can get a discount of Rs 1,500.
In addition, customers will receive a free 1-year subscription of Disney+ Hotstar and 6 months of free screen protection.
Poco M5 Specifications
Poco M5 comes equipped with a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, a peak brightness of 600 nits, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It houses a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Furthermore, the storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
A triple camera setup is included on the back of the device sports a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel portrait shooter with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. The front of the device features an 8-megapixel camera for selfies.
It runs on Android 12-based MIUI 13 skin on top. The device comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. In the box, the device comes with a 22.5W charger. The device has 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and a USB-C port for charging.
