The Realme 9i 5G is slated to be launched in India soon by Realme. This is the successor to the 4G variant introduced in January. Prior to its official launch, Realme revealed some key details about its upcoming budget 5G handset. 9i 5G will feature a “laser light” design. In addition, Realme has confirmed the specifications of its upcoming smartphone. 
The Realme 9i 5G India launch event will be held digitally on Thursday, August 18 2022 at 12:30 PM. The event will be live streamed on Realme’s social media channels, including YouTube and Facebook. A MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset is confirmed to power the Realme 9i 5G.
According to Realme, the phone will feature a “massive battery” and an AI triple camera setup. The company did not reveal the exact details.
The device was also shown to have flat sides with the power button on the right. At the back, you can see three individual cameras. At this time, there are no other details about the Realme 9i 5G.
Realme 9i 4G Specifications
The Realme 9i 4G version has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD full HD+ display with 1080 × 2408 pixel resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness level of 480 nits. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 chipset along with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Through a dedicated microSD card slot, the storage can be expanded up to 1TB.
Featuring a triple rear camera setup, the phone offers a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
