The Chinese smartphone maker Redmi is going to bring its Redmi K20 flagship smartphone series on May 28 in China. The upcoming Redmi K20 series consists of Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.
Redmi also revealed official renders of Redmi K20 ahead of the official launch. This render also suggests that the design of Redmi K20 is similar to that of Mi 9 Series. It is also confirmed that the upcoming Redmi flagship killer comes with the latest Snapdragon 855 processor and will reach India market very soon. The company is yet to confirm the launch date in India.
Ahead of the launch, Global VP of Xiaomi and MD of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain shared a photo of Redmi K20 on its official Twitter handle. That post reveals the Redmi K2o in Red colour. It is also expected that this smartphone will also come in other colour variants.

The picture also confirms the triple camera set up on the back along with a LED flash. It is also expected that the tree camera setup will also consist of a 48MP primary camera. We are also not able to see any fingerprint sensor on the back which indicates that Redmi K20 will have an in-display fingerprint sensor. And interestingly, This is the first smartphone to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Some leaks also revealed that Redmi K20 will come with the seventh generation optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
Almost most of the leaks already revealed most of the specifications. Rumours also suggest that two smartphones Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro will be launched under Redmi K20 series. The Redmi K20 is said to come with a Snapdragon 700 series processor while the Redmi K20 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 855 flagship processor.
Redmi K20 Specifications
Redmi K20 sports a 6.39-inch display with Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340p resolution and 91.2% screen to body ratio. The screen is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The triple camera set up on the back consists of a 48MP primary camera, 13MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP telephoto lens camera.
It may also have a 20MP pop-up camera for selfies. Redmi K20 may also come with a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. Redmi K20 is expected to run MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 Pie.
Redmi K20 may come in two RAM variants 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage respectively. We should wait for the official announcement to know the exact specifications and price range of these upcoming Redmi K20 flagship smartphones.
