Redmi Note 7 Pro to Launch After Mi 9, Says Xiaomi VP

The newly created subbrand Redmi from Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the most awaited smartphone Redmi Note 7 Pro.  According to a social media post from Lu Weibing —a newly appointed general manager of the Redmi brand and a vice president of Xiaomi-shared about the launch of Redmi Note 7 Pro that will unveil soon after the Xiaomi Mi 9 on his official Weibo account with a teaser image contains  the text “Pro”.

According to the previous report, the Xiaomi is planning to bring Xiamo Mi 9 to China on February 20 and later will showcase it to the global market on Fen 24 Mobile World Congress(MWC 2019). This reveals the company will likely launch the device in the month of March. Notably, The company already revealed the launch date of Redmi Note 7 in India on February 28.

As we don’t know much about the upcoming Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone like specs, price, launch countries, etc. But we widely expect that it will definitely take a massive upgrade in most departments when compared to the Redmi Note 6 Pro. As we know the Redmi Note 7 got some serious camera power switch astonishing 48MP + 5MP dual camera setup on the back. The Pro version could get similar hardware internals like its standard version with an upgraded processor chipset.

The company has not revealed any information about the India launch of the device but we can go ahead and assume that the device will launch in China first with an Indian launch not long after.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a 6.3-inch display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 7 is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor, up to 6GB of RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery. It also runs Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie.
