Redmi Note 9 Pro concept render shows punch-hole display and square-shaped quad cameras

Yesterday, Xiaomi revealed that the brand will unveil the Redmi Note 9 series in India on March 12. Now, a new leak has shed some light on the design of the upcoming mid-range phone from the Redmi dubbed as Redmi Note 9 Pro.

The concept render shows off the phone from both front and back giving a fair idea of the upcoming Redmi Note 9 Pro could look. The renders come from Ben Geskin. As we can see in the images, the Redmi Note 9 Pro appears to have quad cameras housed inside a square-shaped module. There is also a LED flash unit is placed below the camera module.

From the conventional notch on Note 6 Pro to waterdrop notch on Note 7 and Note 8 series and now if the render is to be believed, Redmi Note 9 Pro will come with a single punch-hole camera on the top left.

There is no rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and seems to be integrated with the power button on the right side of the handset. The volume rockers and another button can be seen on the right edge of the device.

In a separate post, an alleged live shot of the Redmi Note 9 Pro is also leaked by 9TechEleven which looks real. However, the image clearly mentions that it is a concept image of the Redmi Note 9 Pro.

As for the specs, the Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro are anticipated to have upcoming 5G-ready mid-range SoC from Qualcomm that is said to have a model number of SM6250. The SoC is expected to have support for NSA and SA dual-mode 5G connectivity. As per the listing revealed by 3C, a charger that has a model number of MDY-11-EM with support for up to 22.5W quick charging could be for the Redmi Note 9 series.
