Samsung confirms ‘Notchless Infinity’ display on Galaxy A90

Samsung revamps its midrange smartphone segment with its Galaxy A-series. The company already hinted the launch of Galaxy A90  which is widely expected to be on April 10. As per a recent post by the company’s Indonesia website reveals the upcoming smartphone A90 will feature “’ “Notchless Infinity” display.

As per the recent promotional post hosted by the Samsung for its upcoming event on April 10, where one of image revealed a Notchless Infinity screen that “maxes out for a super immersive experience”.  At the bottom of the image, Samsung had also made it clear that the Notchless Infinity screen will only be available on the Galaxy A90. 

The piece of information spotted at the footnote of the post that reveals that notch-less Infinity screen will only be available on the Galaxy A90. The whole idea of a notchless display suggests that the Galaxy A90 could well equip a sliding camera for the front much like the Vivo Nex but nothing can be confirmed at the moment.

Another report from Galaxy club revealed the battery information on the Galaxy A90 which is now expected to feature a battery with a capacity of 3,610mAh.However, this is not confirmed officially. If it is believed to be true, the Galaxy A90 will feature a smaller battery than the 4,000mAh power unit on the Galaxy A50, A30 and A20.

As per recent rumours, Samsung Galaxy A90 is expected to feature a 6.41-inch display. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. It is likely to run on One UI based on Android Pie.

For now, The leaks suggest that the Galaxy A90 won’t be the only device from Samsung at its April 10 event. It is also tipped to introduce the Galaxy A20e alongside the Galaxy A40 and Galaxy A70 smartphones. If Samsung works on popup camera smartphone then its give a tough competition to the recently launched Vivo V15 pro and Oppo F11 pro.
